چکیده

Ascorbic acid (AA) and salicylic (SA) are naturally active antioxidants that protect against plant stresses, including salinity. We studied the physiological response of wheat to AA SA (100, 200 ppm) as well combined treatment (100 through application both priming foliar spray treatments under saline conditions. The results showed plants salt-affected soils exhibited numerous effects in metabolism, which subsequently affected qualitative quantitative parameters growth yield. Moreover, photosynthetic pigments, antioxidant content, yield significantly enhanced SA. In contrast, lowered osmolytes lipid peroxidation content Accordingly, enhancement mentioned parameter was related scavenging reactive oxygen species decreasing oxidative stress on salinity stress. Our explore significance applied efficacious compounds farming with using or a can be promising for beneficent productivity improvement soil

Alleviation of Salinity Stress in Spring Wheat by Hormonal Priming with ABA, Salicylic Acid and Ascorbic Acid

Effects of hormonal priming with abscisic acid (ABA), salicylic acid (SA), or ascorbic acid on wheat (Triticum aestivum cv. Auqab 2000) germination and seedling growth under normal (4 dS/ cm) and saline (15 dS/ cm) conditions were studied to determine their usefulness in increasing relative salt-tolerance. During germination test, most of treatments were effective in improving germination and s...
